We spent 4 nights at this Bed and Breakfast and found it to be great. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits by Bridget and some great advice as to what to see. The kindness of Mary and Bridget was second to none and the food was to die for. We cant begin to express how wonderful it was to... more

I traveled with two pre teenagers for the bank holiday weekend. We received a genuinely warm welcome from Brigid while we awaited our hostess Mary Fuller. Mary showed us to the very large en suite family room which was bright and airy and beautifully presented as indeed is the whole house. Mary Fuller was on hand to advise on all... more

I really enjoyed staying at Friar's Glen! Right on the edge of the National Park, you can watch passing deer while tucking into possibly the best pancakes ever!!! Five stars!! more

Mary & Bridget run a great guesthouse in Friar's Glen - it's actually more like a boutique hotel except that it doesn't do evening meals. But when you've worked your way through their unbelievable breakfast, you'll probably feel that you don't need to eat for another 24 hours! (Try the pancakes if you don't normally eat a 3-course meal at... more

If you want to visit Killarney, this is a really great place to stay. It is located in the national park...great views, peaceful. Yet is just a hop from town and more importantly a short walk from the nearest pub. Mary and co were very helpful in recommending things to do...great boat trip and walk for one day and a... more

This was our favorite B&B that we stayed in when visiting Ireland. Friar's Glenn is a quaint place with lots of charm. Very relaxing place!! We were very happy with our stay - only wished we had stayed in the Killarney area for more days. more

The setting is idyllic - surrounded by the most wonderful countryside, yet so convenient for local bars and restaurants and only minutes from Killarney Town Centre. The welcome from Brigitte was warm and friendly, we were greeted with a pot of tea served in the guest sitting room in front of a roaring fire while she gave us all the... more

We can only echo the comments of Mairead who described her stay so well. Delighted that we chose a peaceful location in the national park after seeing the Vegas style strip of hotels from Killarney town and bowled over by the warmth and charm of the Fullers and by the lovely Bridget. Very professionally run with high standards achieved in... more

This is our second time staying here and I have to say that second time round was just as good. The view of the mountains from the dining room was as beautiful as ever. Being within walking distance of the National Park is fantastic. Mary Fuller, our hostess, as usual had loads of ideas for us for to do, rain... more
