Stayed here back in 2006 but just joined tripadvisor a few days ago..if only i had known about this site before booking. I booked the hotel online because it was pretty close to the ambassador theatre where i was going to a concert. The rooms were decent, a little dusty and very warm but otherwise O.K. Milk in the fridge... more

Just had a few days in Dublin and stayed in the belvedere hotel, hotel was easy ( ish ) to find after getting off the air-link bus, ( i just got off and walked the wrong way ) Any how the hotel was clean and tidy and a lot better than what i was expecting, which was a nice surprise,... more

A nice hotel, well situated, breakfast was good apart from the awful irish breakfast tea but the Dubliner cheese more than made up for the rotten tea! Room was very spacious which was ideal for three slightly messy females. We enjoyed our stay in Dublin apart from the extortionate prices you have to pay for food and drink UNBELIEVABLE!! Took... more

Stayed in the Belvedere with my boyfriend and his family for a couple of days. It is great value for money and very well located. Lovely breakfast for a reasonable price. Rooms are spacious and very clean. more

Our stay at the Belvedere was terrible, Me and my friend checked in around 6pm, When we got to the reception we were greeted by what i can only call a very rude and abrupt person who wouldnt know the meaning of customer servie if it smacked him in the face, He told me he had charged the full amount... more

We got the train down to Dublin for a girly shopping expedition and wanted a fairly central hotel at a fairly cheap price. The Belvedere was central and cheap. We paid £87.00 for a twin room for one night, no breakfast included. The room had been cleaned but was showing signs of wear and tear! One window pane had been... more

I have just returned from a very pleasant 4 day stay in Dublin. We arrived on the early flight from London and went straight to the Hotel. We didn't expect to be able to check in to our room, however, the very helpful receptionist said there was a room available and we were able to have access immediately. The room... more

We took a bus from the airport and got off at O'Connel Street. We then walked up towards Parnell Square. Initially we had trouble finding it as the brown sign was pointing in the wrong direction! However, once we got there, we stayed in Room no 423 and had no complaints. We had tea/coffee facilities, iron and board, lovely bed... more

Couple of nights away in Dublin. Booked this hotel via this site but no-one told us that it changed its name and signage to the BELVEDERE. Spent ages hunting for it! The hotel was very pleasent with the beds very comfy. Breakfast was nice. An attatched bar served bar meals and was popular with locals. Staff were friendly and helpful.... more

Normally if I stay in Dublin overnight I would be inclined to stay in Camden Deluxe Hotel but this time me and my boyfriend wanted to go to the Radiohead gig in Malahide, so we wanted to be near enough O'Connell Street to get the bus easily. A lot of places were already booked or were a ridiculous price, so... more
