We chose the Gresham for a weekend trip to Dublin. It is conveniently located (probably one of the two pluses), just near the needle, and 5 minutes walk to the shops, 10 minutes to Temple Bar. Also, the airport bus shuttle stops almost right in front of the hotel, so good spot. We were given a very stuffy room, which... more

I was able to book a Mid Week Bargain Break for Half the Rate of Two People in an Executive Room. It was still a collossal 149.1/2 Euros P/n B & B. The room was excellent, very large, and had a perfect Bathroom with Walk in Shower as well as a Bath. View from the window was not inspiring, although... more

Its the worst quality breakfast in Dublin! The food was such poor quality, and the service was terrible, the room where breakfast was served was dirty and the staff just ignored you. How they can charge so much to stay there is beyond me. Dont get breakfast included go somewhere else. more

Overview: The Gresham is a large and historic 4 star property located in Dublin City Centre. It can apparently trace it’s roots back as far as 1817 and boasts numerous famous guests over the years including; from Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly to Oasis and some “famous” footballers I hadn’t heard of (some contrast there!). Location: The grand façade fronts... more

I have just returned from a 3 day stay in Dublin and stayed in the Gresham Hotel. I was travelling with my husband, 2 year old daughter and my mum and dad. We booked the Gresham because it looked ideally situated and we could also book a deluxe room and breakfast (a lot of hotels in Dublin are room only... more

My wife and I were in Dublin twice over our two week trip. Once for two days and again for a single day. For our two day stay we had booked a hotel from home and we chose the Comfort Inn Granby Row, thinking that if it was ok for this stay then we'd book our next visit with them... more

Impressive reception area, but that's really where the glitz and glamour ends. Rooms do feel more like 3 star but with a 4 star price tag. The room was however quiet and clean and the location is just a 10 minute walk to Temple Bar without all the noise that usually comes with staying near that area. Ask for a... more

Given there's so much to see and do in Dublin, hotels tend to provide little more than a bed for the night. But definitely not the Gresham... We stayed for an overnight and enjoyed a spacious room (oh how we danced!), a beautiful lunch, the perfect breakfast, great overall service (including the afternoon turn down - nice touch!), genuinely friendly... more
