What a great hotel the Clarion is. I would say it is three times as good as the Shelbourne at one third of the cost. Check in was friendly and efficient. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the river (as requested) and had a huge balcony. Breakfast was first class. Really recommended. more

Just enjoyed a good stay at the Clarion. About 15 minute walk to Temple Bar area - and half an hour stagger back. Staff at Hotel were nice and efficient, rooms were modern and clean, and pool and gym were great - bigger than expected. We were visiting Ireland on a Globus Tour and this was the hotel for our first leg of the trip. We were here two nights and slept very comfortably and enjoyed the free internet. Stayed here while attending a show in The Point. Location is ok. Hotel was clean but simple for the price paid. Would stay there again if attending a show nearby but would chose a more central Dublin hotel otherwise. more
