My daughter and I stayed at the Mont Clare Hotel for 3 nights. The reception is small but so pretty, and so full of character. We stayed in a twin room at the front of the hotel, room 312, the rooms are lovely, the beds are the most comfortable l've slept in and the room was very clean. I would... more

I booked this hotel from HotelBook.com. It did not appear on the more popular hotel sites. The location was key, I was traveling with a young teen, wanted to be close enough to walk to everything, but not be in the hustle & bustle of the noise on the main drag. Our room faced the main street, which I did... more

We visited Dublin on our summer holiday and stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. It was nice and comfy, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, the pub food in the hotel restaurant was good... Cannot complain. Our room had a view to Merrion Square / Archbishop Ryan Park, we could actually see the statue of... more

We arrived at the Hotel at 10 expecting to leave the bags and have to go out till we can check in, but nope our room was ready, checked in straight away and the receptionist was the most helpful, telling us where to go and pointing us in the right direction. Location great for all of dublin, just don't forget... more

We stayed here for one night on a lightning trip to Dublin for my daughter's birthday. I booked via a website called xcapewithus and got an excellent rate - £84 for a twin room with full breakfast for two. Compared to many others on offer this was pretty cheap - Dublin is quite an expensive place. The location was superb:... more

A fair bet if you got a good price (I paid 85 Euro/night for a double, having booked over the website of Rynair). It's central and my room towards the back was very quiet. The bathroom was clean. The only drawback was the foul-smelling water running out of the tap and the shower, which kept changing from warm to boiling-hot... more

Just come back from a 3 night stay here, location is great and the hotel is nice and quiet - staff very obliging when you need them but leave you alone when you don't. Comfortable rooms, relaxing and laid back. Would stay again as reasonable price. more

I recently stayed at the Mont Clare for 7 nights. The staff was friendly and accomodating. One of our non-smoking rooms was smoky, the staff attempted to air out the room but the room was still smoky. Since we were travelling with teenagers, we wanted to stay on the same floor and were upgraded to a jr. suite. If all... more

My wife and myself stayed at the Mont Clare last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a hotel with the feel of a gentleman's club, all wood panelling etc. Friendly staff checked us in and the room was a nice size with all mod-cons. Only one gripe, only one side of the bed had a table. A decent sized bathroom... more

we booked this hotel with ryan air website, we toook the Aero airport bus which stops just around the corner from the Hotel, make sure you allow more time on the return journey to the airport as the bus picks up throughout town on the return. We found the hotel to be central and convenient to all the tourist spots,... more
