Our group of students stayed in this hostel for five days. Our room was tiny and dirty. The trash can of the toilet was full of used tampons and the whole room smelled disgusting. We also found rotten apples from the corner of the room... The others' rooms were also as dirty as ours but at least not that small.... more

This hostel was not the worst I stayed at on my backpacking trip to Ireland. But it definetly has room for improvement. The biggest turn off for me was when I was walking up the stairs to my room and saw the toilet. It was overflowing with toilet paper, and the floor was not visible under all of the newspapers... more

This was my first experience staying in a hostel, and it was better than I expected. We had a triple room with our own bathroom. The shower was kind of small, but otherwise the bathroom was quite roomy and clean. We had a set of bunk-beds and a single bed, although the single bed seemed more like a full-sized bed.... more

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Abraham House. We were a group of 22 lads on a stag do, and we had two 10-bed dorms and one 4-bed room. The accomodation is what you expect from a hostel - bunk beds, less than glamorous bathroom facilities, basic breakfast etc - but as long as that is what... more

Where the rooms were average (we stayed in a ten bed dormer), it was the fun social aspect of the Abraham that I liked the most. Of course, the social aspect also kept me from getting enough much-needed sleep. I would definitely say it was geared toward a younger crowd, but it was comfortable for all age ranges. There were... more

This is the second time I have stayed in Abraham House and it was just as good as I remembered. The hostel is in a really good location for transport, shops, and pubs and clubs. We spent the majority of our stay in a 20 mixed dorm and there were no problems at all. The room was clean and bedding... more

Reasonable hostel accommodation. Wasn't perfect but then with a hostel you do not expect perfect. The shower was falling off the wall a little and it could do with a lick of paint. However the accommodation was clean, staff helpful and atmosphere friendly. They also have free internet which was useful. Breakfast was basic but filling and finished quite late... more

We stayed here or one night and found i totally satisfactory. the room we stayed in was clean. there was a tv and kettle, although it did smell rather mouldy. The shower and bathroom was clean and the beds were comfy. Had to go down loads of corridors. The one good thing about this hostel was the staff, they were... more

The location is good and with this price one should not wait too much. The the hostel is a labyrinth of corridors after corridors and doors after doors. In case of serious fire your changes are minimal. One can only wonder how this has been accepted in fire safety checks. more

What a hostel! it exceeded every expection imaginable. Great views from all front bedrooms, Bathrooms/beds very clean. Sheets changed daily, reception very helpful and breakfast small but tasty. nearer by pub, with friend staff, would go back again. more
