This place is a complete joke if i'm honest. I went to Dublin for a Birthday treat from my boyfriend and when he told me how much the hotel was per room i thought well it must be nice for that price. When we got there we checked in and everything seemed okay but when we got in our room... more

First of all, this is the loudest hotel I have ever had the miserable experience to stay, right at a very busy crossroads. And to top this, the staff is absolutely unprofessional. We made the mistake to leave a really good and expensive pair of shoes in our room, phoned the reception one and a half hour after check-out and... more

For $200 US, the stay was equivalent of a substandard, ill-appointed "midwestern" hotel, not that of a capital city, only one block from the home of Oscar Wilde! The reception staff was surly and un-responsive when I arrived on a rainy night after a long drive from Galway. He wanted to give me the worst room of choice--across from reception... more

Hi this was our return trip to the guesthouse and we stayed for 5 nights in total and had a great time. It was being painted whilst we were there and was lovely and clean. The rooms were all recently done up, painted, new carpets, flat screen tv's etc. we couldn't fault it at all. Staff were great, and remembered... more

I stayed here for a few nights and can agree with all the other reviews, the location is brilliant and allows good access to the city, but (and it's a big but) the guesthouse is dirty, with peeling paint and a general air of disrepair. Sorry to say, I won't go back and won't be recommending it. more

I was very impressed with the overall ambience of the premises. On arrival I met a charming young lady who made me feel at home straight away. Very central for my touring around Dublin, beds very comfortable so good night sleep. Felt good sleeping in such an historic building. Big Irish fry-up in the morning and I was ready for... more

My husband and I were on the fence about staying outside of the bustling Temple Bar area, but we were ultimately very glad to avoid the noise and crowds by staying just off of St. Stephen's Green at Fitzwilliam. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and warm. Even in our street-level room, noise was minimal. The... more

This is a down-at-heel guesthouse. The location is great, an easy stagger from Dublin city centre, but the small rooms, peeling paintwork and general air of neglect is not. To be fair, the place was very clean, so you couldn't call it a fleapit: but it is far form the boutique hotel that it tries to sell itself as. more

we stayed in Fitzwilliam Townhouse for a weekend in January. the location was great only a few minutes from the premier shopping street in Dublin. Our room was nice and comforable with flat screen tv. the house is historic and used to be the home of a wealty landlord in the 19th century. breakfast was in Puffer Bellys restaurant which... more
