We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Rosa and Alan at Fearnoch. At the foothills of the Cullins it was perfect for our "off the beaten track" getaway. The home from home atmosphere and guest lounge created a good place to meet fellow guests. It was here we sampled the best food of our trip with Rosa's breakfast something to look... more

We went to Skye one sunny day At Fearnoch then we chanced to stay The view was fine, the welcome warm The standards far above the norm We ate like kings and slept like lords Tis hard to find the proper words To say to Rosa, Alan too How we enjoyed our stay with you Our gratitude this ditty sends... more

Friendly home from home accommadation with hosts Rosa and Alan. They were extremely helpful with advice for the hill walking we had planned and went way above what you would expect of B & B hosts. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom spotless and a big plus in Skye, the property was midge free. The lounge is spacious... more

Following a stay in a grotty Hotel in Callander and navigating the so called roads of Skye arriving at Fearnoch was like entering a little bit of heaven. A warm welcome, luggage taken up to my room which was a delight. The bathroom, whilst small was adequate with everything one needed; the towels were, to my surprise, changed everyday and... more

4 of us recently stayed here. Beautiful, clean accommodation in a wonderful location - but - there are lots of strict rules to adhere to! E.G. removal of all outer gear in tiny porch and leave tidy, keep common area tidy, keep bedroom/bathrooms tidy (do not leave toothbrushes etc. out of wash bags), don't relax, go to bed early as... more

We read the Trip Advisor comments before coming here and we were not disappointed. The single track road to Torrin passes through such beautiful scenery that you feel "off the beaten track" and inspired before your reach Torrin. Fearnoch is in such a lovely location with good views. It was just a short distance to Loch Slapin, and the trip... more

My wife and myself have been visiting Skye for a number of years, enjoying the hospitality of our friends on the isle and of course the wonderful scenery and seafood. Having met Rosa and Alan whom run this beautiful B & B, I can only say that it was the perfect end of our trip to a special place in... more

My wife and I stayed with Rosa in August 2007 and had a wonderful time. Fearnoch is set in a marvellous location in Torrin, on the Broadford to Elgol road, and is backed and flanked by inspiring mountain scenery with loch views to the front. It was just a short walk to the shore where there was an otter hide... more

We stayed with Alan and Rosa for a week of walking and relaxation. The beautiful village of Torrin is located on the banks of tranquil Loch Slapin with the dramatic backdrop of Bla Bhein. Fearnoch is in a particularly favoured location, benefiting from unrivalled views of both sea and mountains. Hospitality was second to none and we both loved Rosa's... more

We stayed with Rosa at the Fearnoch whilst walking from Armadale to Duntulm on Paterson's 'Long Walk on Skye'. Having camped the two previous days (there being no accommodation in Ord or Heaste), we needed to be looked after and weren't disappointed. The twin room was cosy and clean. Rosa's evening meal was fantastic, as was the breakfast. I'd recommend... more
