We have stayed here for the upteenth time now and once again everything is FIRST CLASS. We especially LOVE the breakfast with its many many hot choices AND an EVEN BIGGER selection of cold meats,chese,fruit,pastries,cereals etc..the list is endless. Check-in was OK went to room and found it to be smelly very dirty, the walls looked like they had not been cleaned since victorian times. Our family room was the disabled room... This was probably one of the more expensive hotels we stayed in and was pretty much value for money. It is an old hotel but well looked after and maintained. The rooms were of a good size and the bathrooms very roomy with baths. Not much of a view from our 2 rooms but you could see sky and hills... more

If I were passing by this hotel I would not be tempted to enquire re.accommodation. I booked this hotel at the last minute and on arrival was pleasantly surprised (although given the tariff i wasn't expecting a terrible hotel). However, the first problem to note is the issue of car parking. The hotel would seem to have to none and so you have to park about a 5 minute walk away in a multi-story car... more
