This was our third visit to Abbey Cottage. It is excellent value for money.The rooms are clean and cosy. The breakfast is delicious and plenty of it. Sharing a large dining table in a beautiful room gives an opportunity to chat to other guests. The owmer is very welcoming and helpful. The cottage garden is a delight. more

The location is good and the price is good -- but the B&B-keeper runs her B&B like a boarding house. No comfy talks or helpful hints. The woman is a very interesting artiste -- photographer and musician, but the B&B seems to be a way to make money without extending a lot of other niceties. Also everything is "half" --... more
