The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Our rooms were comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was really good, it set us up for a day of sightseeng in Edinburgh. We went to several Fringe events. The location of a bus stop almost outside the door made it so easy. We had a wonderful time and were sorry to leave. We look... more

Excellent stay, Julia is very friendly and accomodating. Short bus ride into town is not an issue - but be warned, buses carry no change so you have to have the exact fare! Room very clean and comfortable with everything you could need, including very good guest information on places to eat, getting aroung etc. Inky the dog is lovely. more

Stayed in Ardbrae House for a few days in Sept 2007. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and fresh and it looked newly renovated. Each room had individual showers. The breakfasts were great. Not too far from Edinburgh and there were buses at the end of the street, about a 5 min walk that took you... more

I only stayed 1 night at Ardbrae but am looking forward to my next trip to Edinburgh just to stay there again!! It's a perfect place to stay if you're disabled as they have a couple of wonderful ground floor rooms with no stairs to deal with at all, and would be equally suitable for anyone in a w/c I... more

My son and I stayed at Ardbrae House overnight after the Scotland-England rugby international in March, and now we plan to go back again in November. The accommodation was spotless, well-appointed and very comfortable but what made the difference to Callum and I was the friendly reception, and the wonderful service. The location can't be faulted, close to Edinburgh Zoo,... more

Just a few comments I would like to make about the accommodation at Ardbrae House Corstorphine Edinburgh. I spent a few days in September with three of my adult children at the B&B, and we thoroughly enyoyed our stay. We were well looked after by the proprietor Julia. The accommodation had obviously recently been refurbished, and was top quality. Breakfast... more

My son and I went to the British Open Golf Tournament. We stayed with this lovely couple in their B&B. We had two great rooms and were served a lovely Scottish breakfeast, by Julia. The Haggis was interesting! Great location from the Edinburgh airport. One simple bus ride or a brief taxi trip. An easy bus ride into Edinburgh. A... more
