Date: 02.10.2008 Reviewer: Doris, Michelle&Conny This was our first holiday in Edinbugh and and our first experience with bed&breakfast. Although the weather was't the finest - for my taste it was freezing - I get cold very easily, our holiday was really enjoyable. The B&B of Brian and Anne was perfect. It was clean, friendly and the most important fact... more

We booked on historic Scotland and were suprised about a few things...that they charged us in advance and asked us to settle up our first day there. Not bad but a little odd. The room was clean and spacious and close to a good bus stop with a nice park accross the street. Brian was friendly and extremely helpful but... more

My name is ANNE. After reading your review I was amused at my description as Brians' wife. My name is Anne and has been for a long time. When you checked in you were told my name and we also communicated in e.mails. Very nice place to stay. Although the Guest House isn't in the real center, it's no problem to get into town by bus which passes by every 10 - 20 minutes. The breakfast is eccellent, the room very comfortable. Anne and Brian are really polite and wellcoming: without any problem we could leave our luggage at their home when we... more

We had a wonderful stay. Brian and his wife were so helpful and fun. We felt right at home. The breakfast was delicious - even tried haggas. The bedroom and bath was small but adequate. Most importantly, it was clean. The bed was incredibly comortable which felt so good after a long flight. Would definitely stay there again! more

First time in Scotland, we found the Aynetree Guest house very welcoming and comfortable. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts very helpful. It is situated a short bus ride from the main heart of Edinburgh, but we found this no problem (even with two small children) as local buses were regular. Only wished we had booked a... more

We stayed at this lovely B&B for a few days during the festival. The room was very clean and well presented, very cute. The full Scottish breakfasts were a fantastic way to start the day- delicious! The hotsts are very friendly and helpful in any way they can be. Our only criticism would be that the room was a little... more
