Everything was bad from check-in to check out. The bar staff didn't seem to want to serve anyone. Breakfast was tragic - waiting for 45 minutes to get served eggs and bacon. Didn't risk evening food after it. Bar looks like it needs a good clean. more

Stayed for on 5th April - first room had mould/paint over the ceiling in the bathroom which was flaking all over the floor. Generally not very clean and had a strange smell. The hotel is modern with plain but tasteful enough rooms and a pleasant bar area. It is in a location convenient to Edinburgh by bus or taxi, but there is nothing much in the immediate area. Stayed here for one night in February, great hotel in a great location. The rooms are very spacious, along with flat screen tv in them. This hotel is alright price wise, but would have preferred to stay locally in the centre of Edinburgh, although there was plenty of buses from outside the hotel into the centre, if you decided on a late night out in the city you would have to expect to get a taxi back as the buses don'. t run all night.... more
