Just returned home from another 3 night stay at the Aberdeen Marriott. With its recent refurbishments now complete it really is an excellent hotel to stay at. Nothing special to look at from the outside, but inside could not be more different. Staff are very friendly and rooms, breakfasts and leisure facilities are all very good. Perfectly adequate. Nothing special. I'm sort of surprised to see so many people raving about it. It's a Marriot. Looks like a Marriot in Cleveland or Nashville. Middle eastern platter was not bad. more

Stayed in room 200. Check-in was great, nice and friendly staff at the reception. Room was clean and quite large. Breakfast was the normal buffet you always get at Marriott hotels, both hot and cold and plenty. Dinner is not recommended and nor is in-room dining as the food was not very well prepared and cooked. Stayed here using clubcard deals, lovely hotel and the rooms are beautiful, pool large and welcoming and has one my best meals ever at this hotel. Check in staff friendly and welcoming. The hotel rooms and public areas come up to the usual Marriott standards but the food and service in the restaurant was exceptional. Unique flavours and top quality produce - well done.
