My husband and I had a very special stay in Ardtara in July. The welcome by Valerie was, as always, warm, enveloping and sincere. We found this place quite consistent with the other positive Trip Advisor reviews: attractive, hospitable, serene ... and tidy. We particularly liked the fireplace in the bedroom -- quite romantic (yes, it was nippy outside). All in all, a happy find for us. more

Stayed for one night enroute to ferry at Larne. We were given a warm welcome by Valerie the manageress and our bags were promptly taken upstairs by a cheerful young man who offered us tea, which was gladly accepted. The Ardtara Manor Home is a wonderful place to stay. Although not really close to any tourist sites, it makes a great stay over between northern and southern Ireland.
