I Stayed in the Ark a year ago and it was the best. I went back in December looking forward to seeing the friendly staff again and sleeping in a clean bed!!! Not this time the place was filthy and the beds soiled, it had a change of staff so my advices go some where else. more

Don t know if i stayed at a different Ark hostel but the one in university street was great. The staff even made a couple of phone calls and organised me a job with an agency. The Ark hostel itself is not to bad but do not take a room in their long term lodgings. The Ark will make promises to you about what they will fix, and then never fix anything in these dumps.
