From the start of our stay the owners of the guest house were most welcoming and pleasant. They went out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable and at ease. The rooms were clean and well kept and they had a great range on their breakfast menu, something for everyone. The house is not too far from the... more

We stayed in the Malone Lodge as a one night stopover before leaving for Dublin, so chose it for its location close to the M1. Having checked the reviews we expected a reasonably quiet area and a somewhat antiquated hotel. And thats exactly what we got. The room was adaquate, not scruffy but furnished in the style of the 50's.... more

We stayed for three nights in this hotel in February. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the rooms large and looked very nice except for a few problems. For the price they charge to stay here these things should not occur. The first night we were on the top floor and our shower would not... more

Myself and 4 friends actually stayed here by default (we had booked into the Travelodge, but as they had overbooked, we were transferred to Malone Lodge). We had 3 beautifully furnished double rooms on the ground floor of the building opposite the main hotel. We were all impressed by the high standard of decor and attention to detail; bathrooms were... more

Stayed with the company for the christmas night out. Good comfortable bedrooms - Other got apartments across the road. Party food was excellent. Only problem as mentioned was noise, but then it is a city centre location. We'll rebook next year for the Xmas party. Residents can drink for ever. more

When I arrived we were not welcomed in a respectful manner. The reception was very rude and unhelpful. I was told that our apartment was a five minute walk. My friend and I had a lot of luggage. We asked if we should take a taxi. The reception acted like she did not want to be bothered calling us a... more

My daughter and I traveled throughout much of Ireland last week and this was one of our favorite hotels. At the time we booked our reservation on the internet, we requested a quiet room with light and that is exactly what we got. Our third floor room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and exceptionally clean. The bathroom was gorgeous - large,... more

I stayed at the Malone Lodge on business what should have been for 2 nights. My room was located directly over a noisy extractor, contacted reception who happily moved me to the front of the hotel. I decided to take a shower, only no water. Contacted reception again, they informed me there had been a burst earlier in the day... more

I stayed with my boyfriend after booking a one night stay for £99 per person which included bed, breakfast, three course evening meal, bottle of wine, spa treatment at Northern Ireland Short Breaks website. For the excellent price, I wasn't expecting much but was pleasently surprised. The hotel is situated on Eglantine Avenue which is traditionally quite a studenty area... more

We stayed in apartment as a couple with our 2 yr son. The apartment was huge adequately decoratored but rather characterless. We just went for a weekend away and obviously because of the nipper not able to go clubbing. Unfortunately the apartments appear to becoming a haven for stag/hen weekends. So certainly not a luxury destination. Thankfully the walls are... more
