Tripadvisor really came up trumps for us as I followed the advice of all those wonderful reviews for this place and made a reservation for a 3 night stay. Ty Rosa is a boutique B&B conveniently located between the bustling city centre and the renovated docks area. It is listed as a gay B&B as the owners, Paul and Stuart,... more

This was my first time in Cardiff and I came via train, I got lost trying to find my way to the B&B and considering I'd just treked across North Wales for 4 days I was pretty good at finding my way around so I could of done with better directions for those on foot. I can't say I was... more

I have stayed here, a few times before, and was just lovely. I stayed from the 14th - 17th September, and it was just brillient. They over booked, but managed to get me stay there, (I shared with a mate). I found Paul and Stuart really friendly, and helpful. I would recommed this place to mates, and everyone else I... more

Paul and Stuart are excellent at making you feel welcome to their beautiful Hotel. The Hotel is in close proximity to Cardiff and as such for plenty of local attractions natural and man made. On talking with both Paul and Stuart I found them to be very entertaining and knowledgeable of many things, not least where to go out and... more

Wow, what a lovely stay. Great, immaculately clean room, nice shared bathroom, superb breakfast! We got a warm welcome on arrival and we even got a lift into town on the Saturday when we couldn't get a taxi because of the rugby. It's in walking distance from town too. We would definitely stay here again -thanks! more

All the previous reviewers have described Ty Rosa much more eloquently than I ever could. It really is as nice as everyone says and the hosts are genuinely nice, friendly people. I arrived on a very wet day in Cardiff and landed on their doorstep looking rather worse for wear but my spirits lifted considerably after the offer of a... more

I chose this B&B based on all of the fab reviews on TripAdvisor and whilst I was not let down, I would like to add a few comments of my own. We arrived too early to occupy our room, but as I had mentioned this when I spoke to Paul on the phone, we knew it was not an issue.... more

Just returned from a girls weekend at Ty Rosa, with the lovliest hosts alive. I am old friends of Paul and recently of Stuart but still never expected the excellent service we got. The whole atmosphere of the house, just made you feel at home but with someone else waiting on you! Max, one of the nicest black labradors I... more

Can't recommend Ty Rosa highly enough Paul and Stuart (and Max) are remarkable hosts in every way. Nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to be the first guests in their new annex which like their main building was beautifully furnished, spotless, and rounded off with Paul and Stuart's seemingly endless attention to detail. Everything at Ty Rosa... more

It's so lovely to stay there. The house was very clean and tidy. We loved the sitting room very much as we felt like home. Our room was a bit small, but everything was in order. The bed was big and comfortable for us. All the essentials were provided. The hosts were very nice and friendly. We just stayed in... more
