My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on Aug 20th, we wish it had been longer! Both Alan and Ian, the owners, can be proud of the hotel they have so obviously worked hard to build in the few years they have been there. From the greeting we recieved at the front door on our arrival... more
We recently stayed 2 nights in the Rowen suite for our wedding anniversary, Allan and Ian run this little hotel extremely well. They are both very polite and helpful. The suite was amazing very big with steps down into the main bedroom with a 32inc Sony TV and some fancy ceiling lights that come with a remote control which my... more
My husband and I were delighted we found this little treasure on the web.We were met by one of the two guys who own it and shown to a lovely room.It had flat screen tv,dvd player, and a cd player complete with a selection of cds and dvds to choose from. The toiletries that were supplied were nice and you also had... more
Set among sheep meadows and a charming town, this gem of a hide-away was the find of a recent motoring trip through Wales. From the moment of check-in by the charming chef-owner, to a most delightful meal in the inn's own dining room, meticulous attention to detail were evident. At the host's suggestion, an evening listening to the men's choral... more
What a find. In the Conwy Valley, this perfect gem of a place was the highlight of a short Holiday in Wales. We arrived slightly... more

having read other reviews of the b and b, i can only assume that our experience was a one off. however, having paid over £100 pn for what was descibed as 5* accommodation, i feel that even a 'one-off' is totally unacceptable. OTHER VISITORS BE WARNED. give them their due, the accommodation is in beautiful surroundings and is furnished well.... more
Booked last minute and were soooo glad we chose this place. From the moment we stepped inside all our stresses just faded away. Ian and Alan are the perfect hosts. We were warmly welcomed, given our keys, and they just said treat the place like home! Our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Dinner was wonderful. The best of local... more
