Glyn Isa is a little gem, ideally located for exploring North Wales and Bodnant Gardens, Conway and the National Park. Our two night break was a real tonic and our hostess, Liz, was very helpful and friendly without being at all intrusive. There is also a very good pub nearby for evening meals. more

What a place, a hidden gem for 4 nights. A warm welcome from the start to finish from our hosts. Beautifully comfortable 4 poster room, relaxed atmosphere, great breakfasts and magical surroundings. The local pub in Rowen well worth a visit, as well as the Groes Inn for really good food. Highly recommended, we'll be back. more

Glyn Isa is located on a small quiet county road just a few miles from Conwy. It is a great location for exploring northern Wales. We stayed in the 4 poster room at Glyn Isa for 5 nights in August. The room is quite large and has nice country views. The 4 poster bed is queen-size which was a nice treat... more

Glyn Isa is set just a few miles south of Conwy. Even though its close to the town, it is an extremely rural area. The area is full of flowering bushes, windy roads, and rabbits. From the road in front of the B&B (it is set back quite away), you can see the mountains in the distance. The Glyn Isa... more

I stayed at Glyn Isa for three nights with my partner since we wished to explore North Wales for the first time. The rooms are very comfortable and the views... more

Stayed here in Feb 2007 in the four poster room (Captain's Room). Fab room, great views and pub down road for eating out. Hosts were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. There was fruit, and bottled water in the room which was lovely and warm . Lots to chose from at breakfast also. The hotel is peaceful and... more

Explored Conway and walked the "Castle Wall" (free!) Visited LLanundo and Holyhead. Liz makes the best pooched eggs in the world! Enjoyed two nights dining at the "Gros Inn". Stayed at Glyn Isa for two days in May. It is a beautiful home and the gardens were very enjoyable to walk in. Liz was the perfect hostess. She served a delicious full Welsh breakfast. We enjoyed having the sheep graze right outside our window. No, you could not hear them. Would highly recommend Glyn Isa. more
