We wanted a comfortable weekend break to include a round of golf and we weren't disappointed. The hotel was busy with golfers, weddings and parties but the staff were attentive and professional and we were not kept waiting, rushed or inconvenienced. Enjoyed the golf course. the reviews posted for this hotel must be mostly by british guests, the hotel in american standards was nothing better than a 2.5 star at the most. Good location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The hotel was nice but not outstanding and the bar meals were not up to much really. The room however was great, clean and comfortable.Staff nice too. more
