Got a £9 per night bargain from the Travelodge website. Hotel was modern and easy to find, stayed Bank Holiday, so traffic from road was not a problem. The hotel is on top of an Entertainment Complex, plenty of places to eat and things to do. It was about a 10-15 minute walk along Broad Street to the City centre.... more

Stayed here for one night, after going to a concert. A double room was only £19 which was great value for money. Hotel was easy enough to get to, staff were helpful, room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a great location, and there are promotions on rooms quite often. l would defintely stay here again. However there... more

I booked to stay at Travelodge as i know or thought i knew that i could rely on this company.. The hotel itself isnt too bad but is rather shabby in the rooms. Thought the bed was going to be really uncomfortable but was pleasantly suprised. Not too sure about the area at all. I parked my car in a... more

3 of us stayed in family room for one night. Hotel room was clean and shower and bathroom OK. Bed too soft but the whole experience was to be expected for £55 per night (booked 2 days earlier). No A/C and with window open quite noisy from traffic. Would only stay again for one night if I had to find... more

Managed to stay here on one of the £9.00 promotional rates that Travelodge had a few months back for stays over this summer. The hotel is located a good 20 minute walk from Birmingham New Street station, right at the other end of Broad Street (which is a blessing at 2am in the morning), however as per the other reviews... more

This is a travelodge, you know what to expect. It is clean, the staff were friendly and our room was large. (No.158) and on the street side of the hotel so no problem with noise. The only minor downside is parking which costs £10 for 24 hours. There is a cafe in the hotel or Tesco is opposite where you... more

We were in Birmingham to attend a concert at the NIA on May Bank Holiday Monday. We had paid £26 each for 2 family rooms. There was some initial confusion finding the hotel entrance as we came up from the underground car park (the entrance is on the first floor and accessed either by a staircase or a lift) -... more

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children and thus booked a family room. We have stayed in many travelodges premier inns etc. in family rooms but this was the smallest ever. Beds consisted of a double and a very old dusty and falling to bits sofa with a pull out trolley underneath for the second childs bed.... more

Not a great welcome - asked to sit down and wait by stony faced receptionist who was obviously having to sort out a problem with some guests. Eventually manager came out to help - it was 6pm in the evening and a queue was forming....... The travelodge is over restuarants and a bowling alley. My room window was next to... more

Stayed here 1 night whilst in town to see the panto, with my cousin and her son. Despite the room being booked for 2 adults and a child the room was not set up for 3 people. Only 2 sets of towels, 2 cups, no tea or coffee (but 2 milks!) and no bedding for the pull out bed. We... more
