Holiday inn - Birmingham airport, is a typically but above average airport hotel. 90% of the travellers/guests is naturally one-nighters, which cause a lot of "traffic". Just returned from 2 nights at this Hotel while visiting The Good Food Show at the NEC. Stayed 2 years ago and found that the bedrooms were some of the most comfortable I have every staying in. We stayed here after a visit to the boat show in february, comfortable aging business hotel,souless reception, not bad rooms ours hads a view of a deriect yard. NEC shuttle bus complaint. We booked this hotel due to its proximity to the NEC. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was very clean.
