I stayed at the Thistle Hotel while in Stratford-upon-Avon for a conference. The hotel is just a short walk from the town centre and literally next door to the RSC theatre. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Although it's not a modern hotel it's clean, convenient with a great selection for all at breakfast. more

This hotel is in a great location for visiting the theatre but our bedroom was old fashioned , cluttered and shabby . The evening meal was very poor, breakfast was better but the dining room along with the rest of the hotel is in need of some urgent refurbishment . I would not recommend this hotel. more
