I entirely enjoyed my stay at this wonderful Guest House. Everything was perfect: it is within walking distance to the major sights, I felt really safe (which was important for me as I travelled on my own), everything was tastefully furnished, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were extremely obliging and friendly! In a nutshell, it was fantastic! Thanks... more

We have just returned from a lovely weekend in Stratford. We stayed in this very friendly and clean hotel. The service was excellent, food was fantastic and we would definately visit again. It was also within walking distance of the town centre. more

This is our second visit and the hospitality from the owners is first rate. Lovely rooms maintained to a high standard, a very hearty breakfast, plenty of info about things to do and places to dine and both Cheryl and Dave are very friendly and welcoming.Another plus is easy walking distance to the town centre and the railway station. more

Fantastic stay in an inviting and warm B&B. Cheryl and Dave, the owners, will go out of their way to make sure you have the best information possible about the surrounding area. They are very personable and easy to talk to. Breakfast was fantastic and there was always a great cheery mood, even if you are not a morning person! more

I've recently returned from a fantastic short break at a B&B aptly named Curtain Call, in Stratford Upon Avon (Shakespeare's Birthplace). The owners Cheryl and David were fantastic and made me feel most welcome and very much at home - very important to me as a female travelling alone. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, tidy... more

What a delightful experience! Friendly warm reception, beautiful dining room fronting the building, all nicely set out. Bedroom and shower/bath facilities sparkling , lovely toiletries placed for our convenience. Bedlinen and curtains all carefully chosen to add to the ambience already exuding, chocolates on the pillows, delightfull fragrance danced around our heads- what more could we ask for! ( perhaps... more

We have just returned from a two nights stay at the Curtain Call, and had a wonderful stay. The room was very nice, and full of personal little touches, from the chocolates on the pillows to the handcream and other toiletries in the en-suite bathroom (room 1). Cheryl and Dave certainly looked after us, and nothing seemed too much trouble.... more

For anyone wondering about the distance issue, I stayed here for three nights recently and can say that it is a 25 minute walk from the property to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. For those who know where the railway station is, it's 10 minutes further out of town from there. You do get used to the walk and it wasn't... more

We recently stayed at the Curtain Call guest house (14-16 August 2005) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cheryl and David are very warm and friendly and made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the Cupid Room and it was very clean and comfortable. Also the breakfasts are lovely. We didn't think it was a... more
