We have stayed at the Marriott – Gosforth Park three times now and have enjoy our time there immensely. The staff have always been very pleasant and the concierge is fantastic! We arrived at this hotel just after midnight after a 30 minute walk from Regent Centre metro station. It is next to Newcastle Racecourse and as a previous reviewer said, the hotel isn't much to look at from the outside. Inside, however, was a different story. The hotel looks dated from the outside, (a 1960's build). However, the interior is modern, clean and up to date. The key issue of a good nights sleep were fulfilled: Good quality bed, great bed coverings, curtains that shut out the light and no noise to disturb you.
