I've no complaints about this hotel. There's no need to walk to the Metrocentre to get public transport into town either; there's a regular bus service from the road outside the hotel. more

Just got back from HIXpress Clasper Way. The hotel was clean and bright all the staff had time to talk to you. Very handy short walk to the Metro Centre, Having said that it will take you ages to cross the Roads Newcastle Council must be saving money as there are no ways of crossing the very busy Roads. We have stayed many Holiday Inn Express all over the country. This particular HIX is one of the best so far. Very conveniently located just off A1. Plenty of parking spaces outside. The HIX near the Metro Centre is a well run property. There are two blocks of rooms with the one nearest the railway line being newer and with slightly more up to date room interiors. ....I can't really find anything bad to say about this place. I have stayed here every time I have visited Newcastle and never had a bad experience.
