We're not quite sure whether Chestnuts House is a b & b or a hotel, but it is excellent. The furniture and fittings are of the highest possible modern standard. The cleanliness is superb, the owners and staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We were in Room 1 which was very spacious with a great en-suite,... more

We just came back from a 3 week stay in England and Scotland. I used Trip advisor as my guide. We were never disappointed. Our first stop was Bath and the Chestnits House. Great beginning. Our Host could not have been more gracious or accomodating.. Our room was large and bright with plenty of space for luggage. The bath was... more

The images on the website are exactly what greets you when you arrive at this B&B in Bath. It is closely located to the town centre, only 5 min walk and the overall appearance of the place is beautiful. We were on a short break in Bath and we stayed in room 2. The whole place looked like it had... more

We stayed at this B&B in September. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and were given various maps and leaflets to help us for our day in Bath. The B&B itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was also one of the best we've had at a B&B. There was a good... more

This is a great place to stay when visiting Bath. It's a short walk towards the Abbey but far enough away to be quite and cozy. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious and the breakfast, divine! I would defiantly stay here again. more

We stayed here for a long weekend in July for my husband's birthday. Could not fault Chestnuts House, it was very easy to find, even with our map reading skills and with ample off road car parking we were able to leave the car on the drive for the weekend and walk into the centre along the beautiful Georgian streets... more

Hard to imagine how this place could be better - lovely fresh and new rooms, central location, free off road parking, amazing breakfasts and friendly staff - what more could you ask?? We have come to Bath for years and spent much more in very poor hotels or seedy B&Bs - not any more - we will surely return -... more

Booked a room 2 months in advance and were told we had a reservation. When checking 2 weeks before to see if we needed to do anything more we were informed that the reservation was dropped because we didnt get back to them. They were helpful in suggesting other places but dropping us without informing us could have been a... more

A very quiet and comfortable B & B within easy, and level, walking distance from the centre of Bath and the bustle of Milsom Street. The food was exceptional, ranging from the traditional British cooked breakfast through to smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or eggs benedict. We would not consider staying anywhere else when in the Bath area. Ruth and... more
