We stayed at The County Hotel, Bath for two nights in August 2008. We couldn't fault a single thing. The hotel is in a fantastic location, only 5-10 mins walk from the city centre and what gives it an advantage to other city centre hotels is that it has plenty of free parking. Not an easy hotel to find but guess if you dont know Bath no hotel is. We had a budget room £110 per night. The price was not budget but the room certainly was. You could not swing a cat in it. It was one of the smallest rooms I have ever had. I accept it was budget but still... more

I picked the hotel because as I drove past I thought it looked well presented and had car parking - in the centre of Bath! It turned out to be a great choice as the hotel is beautiful inside.
