(a) you have bad hearing or very good ear plugs (b) you have great patience (c) you do not value your privacy (d) you are not claustrophobic (e) you do not value your luggage Walls made of cardboard so you can hear every sniff from the next room. Rooms not ready at 3pm and constant queues at reception. Constant problems... more

I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I visited London again. We were given a room on the 7th floor and had a nice view of the London Eye. Unfortunately, as the room was located next to the housekeeping office, we had some issues with the noise in the morning from housekeeping. Fortunately, the moment we complained, Management... more

Booked one night at this Hotel via Lastminute.com, very busy reception and hall - three lifts. There is a bar as you walk in which is open until 1am - which is useful. Room was much larger than I anticipated, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Basic toiletries and tea and coffee facilities were good. Would def stay... more

We stayed at The Central Park Hotel for four nights Sept 19 to 23, 2008. In our opinion it is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Here is our experience. Day 1 My wife and I checked in early (9:00 AM) and expected our room not to be available until Noon or possibly 2:00 PM. That was as... more

Wow, where to begin...well my wife and I stayed at the Central Park Hotel from Sept. 21-28 and overall we had an awesome experience. We weren't looking for anything too fancy, just a hotel that was clean and had a great location. This hotel certainly had what we were looking for. We found ALL of the staff to be very... more

Everything was fine, room was adequate and clean. The only disappointment was the full breakfast. The food was cold, and nothing is worse than cold eggs. The best thing to do, would be to just go elsewhere for breakfast since I'm sure you can find a nice breakfast in the area for 5 pounds ($10. American Money) more

The location is excelent whith Kensington Gardens and tube stations around the corner. And - close to Queensway, a very lively street whith all kinds of people. The hotel is (like many others) from the outside and the lobby trying to look like a 5 star hotel, but when you reach your room, you realize why you are in a... more

I read all the reviews carefully before booking this hotel. On the whole you get what you pay for and the breakfast is more than adequate. I have to say that I have never had to reverse out of a bathroom before but the room was clean and the beds comfortable so what more do you want? The location is... more

Don't be fooled by the hotel lobby. Once you get in the lift and out onto your floor you will feel like you've entered a totally different hotel. The carpets were filthy and held together with silver duct tape! The rooms were teeny tiny. My partner and I could hardly walk around the bed. The bathroom was also teeny tiny... more

Overall Central Park Hotel is ok. The location is good, the rooms are small but clean. However, the continental breakfast was a big disappointment. There are some many annoying things about so I dont know where to start. The cooked ham was of the lowest quality imaginable, the cheese was grated(!!) not sliced, the really sour juice was served in... more
