After spending a week at a five-star hotel on George V I was abit worried about checking into Claverly in London but chose it for its perfect location. My daughter and I loved our tiny room with a tall french window leading out to the balcony and really enjoyed the English breakfast. For dinner, the manager recommended a great casual... more

Great location on quite cul-de-sac convenient to Harrod's and tube station. Friendly staff with someone always on duty. Bed was very comfortable with quality linens. Rest of room had limited storage for clothes and was definitely showing its age. Small bathroom had mold around tub which didn't drain well and shower head could not be adjusted. No extras, i.e. robe,... more

Shoebox sized single room. Breakfast each morning was good. Convenient to Knightsbridge tube stop. Thin floors/walls. more

I have been staying at the claverly for nine nights 2 weeks ago and for the first time I found a good balance between rates and services. It is hard to find in London a decent hotel where you actually pay what you get, everything is overcharged. The Claverly Hotel it's been great, I suggest it to everybody, buisness men,... more

Not perfect but well above average, and would like to return. Booked a 2-night stay at 79 GBP for a double en-suite (breakfast included) by paying in advance and, at that rate, there are no cancellations or changes permitted - fair enough. The location is beautiful, 2 minutes to Harrod's and the tube, 5 to the museums. Wonderful shops in... more

My stay at the Claverly was EXCELLENT. I did get a room that was shown on their website and it was wonderful. The location can not be beat and the breakfast was exceptional. The staff were very helpful. I would definetly stay there again. more

We booked through Londontown.com for three days. The rate was about $240 per day. Due to flight cancellations we had to reschedule for about four days later. The rates went up to about $465 per day for the room with a four poster bed. On checking in there were three men employees in the office, NONE of them offered to... more

I stayed two nights at the Claverly Hotel in London. It is in an excellent location in a charming street, easily walkable from the tube and Harrods. There are a lot of excellent cafes and shops in the area. I found the staff to be most helpful and accomodating. There is tea and coffee available in the lounge and apples... more

Reading over the previous reviews here, I can definitely recognize the Claverley in most, with the exception of complaints about unchanged sheets. I found the hotel's hygiene to be quite acceptable. I got a great rate--£79 for an ensuite single including full English--by paying in advance. Not surprisingly, my room did not look much like the gorgeous chintz-filled suites featured... more

When we checked in the hotel we had to have the sheets changed as they were obviously used, soiled and wrinkled. The hotel does not reflect the description on the Internet. It lacks charm, in that the lounge has fake leather sofas and reeks of smoke which is where they have the hotel's "complimentary tea" which is not an added... more
