This place is just how everyone describes it. Somewhat stylish upon first look but thereafter aging and worn. The rooms truly are tiny and have seen better days. My room had a broken ventilation system meaning I was getting only warm air. A service guy came but after five minutes said his shift was over and he was going home.... more

The reservation was simple and easy and I booked the twin for my one night stay. I expected a small room and wasn't disappointed. I liked the room and after a little searching I found the hair dryer in the desk drawer. the 110V power doesn't work so thank goodness for battery power. The cut corners by using liquid soap... more

This was the second stay at this hotel. for 4 nights. Yes the rooms are very small, but clean, modern and everything you would need. Hopefully you wouldn't go to LOndon to spend alot of time in your room anyway. Housekeeping was most prompt each time a request was made, rooms were cleaned to good quality. Front desk staff very... more

On arrival, the attractive reception area looked promising but how looks can deceive! We had to complain twice before accepting an agreeable room. Our first room was tiny and had a broken window that could not be closed. The second room was even smaller and even tho' my partner and I are rather petite there was not room in the... more

On entering the Hotel everything is clean and well presented and the reception staff very polite. The lift to our room on the third floor is very small and it is a tight squeeze with four in it let alone the six it is meant to carry. Our room was probably the smallest double room we have ever stayed in.... more

Don't fall for the pics on the hotel site. The lobby area and bar are updated and somewhat stylish and the meeting room spaces look clean and recently renovated. But venture beyond the first floor to see how old and tired this museum piece really is. Rooms range in size from modest (perhaps even large by London standards) to laughably... more

We booked the hotel for a weekend in London and for the price expected a higher middle-class hotel. First we were rejected at the counter because the online reservation system did not get our reservation (although we had received the e-mail confirmation). We booked Deluxe rooms with kingsize beds, but the first room they showed us was so incredibly small,... more

I have just returned from the hotel and found it to be a good place to stay. OK, the room was small, but it is only somewhere to sleep - you don't go to London to stay in your room? The bathroom was clean and tidy with a very efficient shower and the room was cleaned to a good standard.... more

I booked some kind of promotional room on the internet costing a little under £80, and I thought this was excellent value for the place, given going prices in London. Staff friendly, excellent free wireless connection in your room (think of the hotels that charge you), the room was a little small, but shower/bathroom modern and pleasant. A good hotel... more

I' ve stayed here twice. once with family and the room was fine. The location is great and prices reasonable. The second time last week i was on my own in a tiny single room and it was smelly , claustrophobic and most unpleasant. So beware! more
