We have just experienced a long weekend at Virigina Cottage and felt it was the little touches that made it different. When we arrived there was a glass of wine each in the room which were small and quaint but exceptionally clean and had everything you required. A very nice small dog friendly hotel, good breakfast with very helpful and friendly ,but not in your face staff, a clean pleasant room with a super space-aged shower. myself, girlfriend and her dog Dottie all had a very nice time in the lake district and wouldn't hesistate to stay here again. more
