As this was our second visit to the hotel we knew what to expect. After searching the web for various other places to stay none seemed to live up to our previous stay here. Different people expect different things from their stay but us, as a young couple were attracted to Moss Grove for its unique and funky style although... more

We stayed in a superior room with stocks bed, which was very comfortable with a nice big bathroom (but a small spa bath for such a large room). The breakfast was first class, lots of choice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a bit expensive though, and the parking lot could be a bit bigger. more

I have pondered long and hard over whether to give this 3 or 4 stars, and still not sure I've got it right. I see the average at this point in time is coming out at 3.5, and that's just about it, I think. Why more than 3 stars? Because it's in a fabulous location, smack in the middle of... more

I stayed in this hotel for 1 weekend, it was truly a stunning hotel and the service was excellent. I would highly highly recommend this hotel - for the silly reviews about the breakfast / parking - ignore these comments they are very silly comments!!! it is an amazing hotel and you must stay there if in the Lakes. we... more

We stayed here for 2 nights during the week, and I've got to say the hotel and staff were fantastic from start to finish. We had a Superior room which had a king size bed made from 'wooden stocks' , a huge bathroom, with a large spa bath, and seperate shower if you needed it, there's even under floor heating.... more

We stayed at the Mossgrove for a couple of nights whilst up in the Lakes walking and biking and I don't think I have stayed in a more souless and lacking establishment. The room was ok, until when we went to bed and it became apparent that there was no insulation in the plasterboard partitions between rooms and that the... more

Stayed at the Moss Grove for 3 nights over Easter. Wonderful hotel - small, intimate, spotless in a superb location. This is a 5 star hotel that caters for people who want to stay in a small luxurious hotel right in the centre of the village. Our room (#3) was at the front of the hotel and contained a flat... more

We were after a break in the lakes with a touch of comfort but without the guilt of high mpg and global impact. This was the third time that we had been to stay overnight but were torn about staying in a hotel or B&B. On our two previous visits we had tried one of each both costing about the... more

Moss Grove Organic Hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Everything about the hotel, surroundings and experience is fantastic. The hotel is impressive from the moment you walk in the front door. Things get even better as you walk into your room, We stayed in the Superior Room which had an enormous comfy bed and a wonderful... more

We're just back from a terrific weekend at this hotel, and are thoroughly satisfied. My wife is heavily in to the organic and green side of things, and she was most impressed with what the owners are trying to achieve. The rooms are lovely, and you get a huge selection of dishes to choose from with their 'Mediterrainean Breakfast'. We... more
