The hotel was basic - bedroom was reasonable and quite clean but the bathroom was really disgusting - there were bits of loo roll on the floor when we arrived and the bath was filthy with other peoples hairs floating on top of the water when I filled it up. The hotel is really quite far from the city centre... more
i have just returned from the southampton travel lodge and can honestly say its the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. The room was very tiny and hot, with no air-con, there were two small windows which let in no air at all so we had to sleep with towels on top of us because the quilt would have... more
If you like the idea of fights, swearing and general drunk people coming home at all hours and waking you up then Travelodge Southampton is for you ! Plus someone had been smoking in our room just b4 we got there. And they now charge you £3 to park when you have already paid to stay there. Dreadful place. more
Unfortunately I can only agree with the majority of the other reviewers. I should have left when I saw the broken car glass in the car park. There are no facilities at all apart from a vending machine in the corner. My tv remote did not work, I took it downstairs to ask for replacement batteries and was given a... more
The worst hotel I've stayed in for several years. The "double" room was absolutely tiny, there were no breakfast facilities, nowhere to get a drink, the shower didn't work properly and I couldn't sleep because my room was freezing cold and extremely noisy. I eventually discovered a 5cm hole beneath the window which was letting all the warm air out... more
My Husband and I stayed for two nights in this hotel (it shouldnot be called a hotel) and it definately ranks as the WORST experience ever! The rooms are very old, noise, smelly and just awful. The shower leaked all over the floor so we had to wade in and out of the bathroom. In our ignorance we booked breakfast... more
I was holding a big party in Southampton for my 30th birthday, and had friends and family travelling from all over the UK. I recommended the Holiday Inn, Adnac Park and the Travel Lodge, Lodge Road as budget accomodation options as I thought their hotels were all of a standard quality and I knew what to expect. I can't fault... more
This hotel was recommended to us by the information desk at Southampton Airport as being 1. central and 2. a good place to stay. It was neither. We paid UKL60 for the night so it was not even a bargain. Apart from checking in, there was never anyone on the front desk - pressing the bell was a complete waste... more
Me, my husband and our 2 children stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting family. We paid £52 for 2 nights which i think is very reasonable. The car park isnt very big and we were very lucky to find a parking space so i feel this should be looked into.We stayed in one of their family rooms with a double... more
