We stayed at the Bannings after reading the reviews on this web site and the experience certainly enhanced a brilliant mini break. The comments on Terry and Chris are spot on. You couldn't wish for a more genial or attentive pair of hosts. Some of the rooms are more up to date than others, but that is bound to occur... more

What a great welcome we had from Terry & Chris ! Two very friendly and generous guys who run this place so efficiently. We were on holiday from Australia and had contacted them earlier by e-mail. They gave us a lovely king -bed room on the first floor overlooking the street. It had everything we needed and had been tastefully... more

From the moment my boyfriend and i arrived, we were made to feel like part of the family. Our hosts Terry & Chris were very obliging and helpful. They even recommended places to visit and restaurants to eat at. They even gave us a voucher to get "2 for 1" entry into the local SeaLife centre, which was excellent. The... more

This is a small B&B in the Kemptown area of Brighton. We arrived after a 20 minute (downhill) walk from the railway station and although it is a little out of the centre found it perfect for a weekend break without the car. The owners, Terry and Chris are incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home.... more

We arrived to a friendly reception and for the two days that we stayed we were made very welcome. Terry and Chris are two of the nicest guys and they go out of their way to be of help. The room was clean and comfortable. As for the breakfast, beautifully cooked and certainly one of the best either of us... more

We stayed at Bannings Number 14 for our first trip to Brighton solely based on the reviews seen on this website. (I travelled with my 7.5 month pregnant wife). Chris & Terry are very friendly, personable guys fully due the praise they are given. The room overall was OK (room number 4). Low points were that It had an old... more

We had room number 2 which was excellent, enormous bed, clean and spacious with en-suite and flat screen. It was lovely and fully up to our expectations. The breakfast was enormous and well presented by Terry and Chris along with copious amounts of tea. The pubs and bars along the high street and other smaller roads were welcoming and reasonable, close... more

I booked this B and B having read the reviews on trip advisor and it did not live up to it's reputation. Chris and Terry are nice, friendly people without a doubt and were very helpful but the accommodation is very overrated. The ensuite to the room was inadequate and very, very small. The bed itself was comfortable but the... more

Myself and my partner stayed at "Number 14" for 2 nights over a weekend. The B&B is fantastic with everything you could ever want!It is very tastefully decorated. There is a full size ironing board and iron in the room, as well as a hairdryer (and I mean a proper babyliss one not one of those rubbish ones that are... more

We stayed for two nights and were very happy with the place. Amazing ambience. Terry a Chris made us very welcome. It was homely, comfortable, clean, quiet (except for the raucous seagulls!). The breakfasts were delicious (eggs cooked to perfection). Top marks. Eric & George. more
