At first we were not sure about staying at the this hotel after reading so many bad comments, however for our surprise we had a great time, right on the seafront near the lanes and the shopping centre, the restaurant has great views. As we didn't book Sea facing room at the check in we paid extra to be upgraded.... more

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding reception. The outside and lobby/bar areas have all just be refurbished to a very high standard (although some works are still ongoing which can cause some disruption). So on 1st impressions we thought great this is a nice hotel. We had booked a superior double seaview room. When we got to our... more

Nice public area recently refurbish. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Our room had agreat sea view(we were on the 3rd floor). Check in very quick and staff very friendly. They have only few spaces on the car park but its always problem in Brighton. Will come again. more

My wife & I had booked 3 days earlier. We arrived around 6pm. The roomwe had been allotted had been given to someone else & we were re-located to room 421. No key, no security, no phone, no tv. It is an attic room-mind your head all the time. Too late to go somewhere else. A terrible over priced hotel.... more

We booked for 3 days, were told there was parking and it was across from the pier. When we arrived, all the parking (4 spots) were taken by staff! There was a heap of rusted metal on the beach, across from the hotel, the old pier had been torched 2 months before we arrived and had just been dragged out... more

I stayed here on business in July and was due to be there for a few nights, however business was cut short and I had to leave early. This is a relief as I had seriuosly considered booking into another hotel. It is currently being refurbised throughout and you have to expect some disruption while this is being completed, but... more

Where to start!?! We booked this as a romantic 'getaway' for our anniversary, and the only thing we wanted to do was 'getaway' from the hotel! Firstly, finding the place was great fun, it took us almost 30 minutes of driving round in circles before realising the hotel was hidden behind scaffolding for the building work. None of which was... more

Stayed here for 5 nights while on business. about a 10 minute walk from the Brighton Center. The rooms have recently been refurbished so all were very clean, Hotel reception area is very dated and the carpets were well worn on the stairs and the banisters were shakey. Breakfast is served to you, it's not a help yourself job. You... more

Just returned from two nights at this hotel which if I had gone by the recent reviews I wouldn't have touched with the proverbial barge pole. To say this is the worse hotel one reviewer had stayed in says a lot more about them than the hotel my wife and I and two friends experienced Sure its a bit tired... more
