This place is a total disgrace ... Fawlty towers on speed !! I am currently staying here for a course .. I cannot believe the way that this place is run !! it has been taken over by Hallmark Hotels and its just dire !! Being on a course we are held to ransom in the hotel, you cannot study... more

Not bad but could do with a bit of a make-over, things were looking very tired and shabby. Having said that the leisure facilities (pool, spa, etc) were very nice and it was only a short walk into the town centre. One tip however is to search around for the best price, when I enquired about room rates the hotel... more

Stayed at the Hall for just one night in June. The hotel is in quite a good location, about 5 mins walk from the sea, close to a few shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very nice pool and gym, along with a spa, located within the hotel. Everywhere was clean and fresh. The room I stayed in #3,... more

Would recommend that you avoid rooms 104 and 105 at all costs - perhaps other rooms are OK. Both of these rooms are family rooms that have been badly neglected and are in desparate need of being totally gutted and refurbished there is nothing in them to be salvaged. The bedroom was accessed through the dining room - not a... more

We spend 2 nights here in April and chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool which would be nice for my 2 daughters (aged 6 and 2). First the good: The pool is in a conservatory so even though you are inside you have the feeling of uitside, so its great. The spa is totally away from the... more

We have just returned from a short break at this hotel. Previous reports do suggest that the hotel’s décor is outdated and to some extent this is true but we personally did not have a problem with the décor. Our room was of an ample size and very clean. It had a hairdryer, trouser press/iron and tea and coffee making... more

For a 3* hotel, this is adequate with the advantage of the spa facilities and pool. The basic rooms and the public areas are definitely in need of updating, but they are (generally) clean and tidy. The restaurant is fine, good variety (to be honest i got fed up of everything served with 'jus' 'coulis' or 'sauce' - but thats... more

Just back from another long weekend at the Durley Hall. Even better stay this time as we upgraded to an executive double. Well worth the small extra charge as had a much bigger room plus large bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Leisure facilities just as fabulous as before. Food great and staff very helpful. Will return as soon as we can! more

We have been using this Hotel for the past 15 years. Mostly at Easter, sometimes Xmas and always in the Summer. We tend to stay for 3 days at a time for a relaxing break. In comparing hotels we also tend to book other hotels up to 10 times a year usually in 5 Star accomodation. The Spa pool and... more
