Very good food, particularly the breakfast. The decor was immaculate and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Good free car parking and within easy walking distance of the beach, harbour, town centre shops, cinema and the Princess Theatre. The only negative was that our (standard) room was small but no doubt the higher grade rooms are bigger. more

We stayed a week at the Riviera Lodge and it was great, the service and attention to detail that Carsten and Lee provide is excellent. The Riviera Lodge is a good hotel made excellent because the owners really do care that you have a nice stay. I took a three day break mid August with my two dayghters 20 and 12 and mother (60+). Rooms were small but this did not matter as there is a very relaxing bar/lounge looking out over the hotel pool.... more

Found this hotel on Trip Advisor and booked because of the good reviews - all well warranted. Nice place, clean, stylish and very friendly owners. I wouldn't stay weeks here - the town is not nice enough, but for a short stay, this hotel is perfect. Our room was small but adequate for a one night - just one comment... more

We had a wonderful extended weekend there. The hotel is conveniently located at a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach and centre of Torquay. It is very clean and the service is very friendly. more

I checked out this hotel on Tripadvisor......and the reviews are not wrong. I have travelled to many places and stayed in many hotels in England, but this is probably the best I have ever had the pleasure to stay at.
