After researching the availability of accommodations throughout the Okanagan Valley, we settled (albeit somewhat reluctantly due to mixed reviews on Trip Advisor) on the Walnut Beach Resort. Our gambled paid off dearly as we were very pleased with the modern but tastfully done color schemes, stone accents throughout and very comfortable living arrangements. The heated pool, hot tubs (2), sauna,... more

Just got back from a weekend at the Walnut Beach Resort in Osoyoos! It was great! The resort it gorgeous, the staff friendly, and the nearby vinyards-fabulous! We stayed in a double room with pull out couch (which was actually comfortable!). It included at kitchenette with all stainless steel appliances, no oven, but 2 stove top burners and a microwave.... more

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in August and were very disappoijnted with the overall experience. The pool was dirty and there was a complete lack of seating around the area. The beach was riddled with bottles (some broken) in the morning and remained like that for most of the day. The wine and tapas... more

We booked this hotel for myself and three others for a girls weekend away. We booked a one bedroom and den, there was more than enough room for us four but really any more would of been tight. Love the kitchen/bath that were fully equipped. TVs in each room! The pool area was very nice but we didn't visit it... more

I took my daughter and grandchildren to Osyoos for a weekend and we stayed at this hotel. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave all the staff are very friendly and professional.Even when the power was out in Osoyoos due to a lightening strike the staff remained calm. The rooms are excellent, more than... more

We are a family of four and have travelled extensively throughout Western Canada. We found this resort through a travel web-site and quickly booked our 3 day stay. We arrived at the hotel and were totally impressed. We stayed in a one bedroom, pool side room and it was fantastic - granite countertops in the fully equipped kitchenette, king size... more

We just stayed at the Walnut Beach for three nights. Accommodation options in Osoyoos are pretty limited. There seems to be a bunch of fairly nasty hotel / motel types and then some premium resorts such as Nk'mip, Burrowing Owl and this one. We managed to get the introductory rate of $190 per night for the Chardonnay suite, even though... more

My husband and I stayed at Walnut Beach for three days, and found it to be fairly average. The hotel is advertised as a luxury resort, and while the rooms are finished nicely, it was missing the special touches that would make it a truly memorable place. Our primary issue was with the customer service. We found the front desk... more

We stayed at this resort with another couple for 4 nights at the beginning of August. We were very impressed! Each couple stayed in a studio although the couple we were with upgraded, for $30 per night, to a room with a balcony. It was nice to have the balcony however, we were quite happy to have a room directly... more

Certainly one of the best, if not best hotel in Osoyoos right now, mostly owing to the position on the lakefront, nice pool scene and the fact the hotel is so new. Room fairly basic with cooktop, fridge, microwave, dishwasher but hotel is surprisingly already showing some wear and tear. Rooms could be cleaner too. Hopefully management/the owners stay on... more
