This place has recently been remodeled and the rooms seem brand new. Plus, there is a nice new pool area too. Walking distance from the lake and better yet the Heavenly Gondola. The Mark Twain Lodge is romantically perfect. There is a honeymooners suite that has a whirlpool tub/shower, built in fire place, california king sized bed and a kitchenette. Its perfect for that night before skiing or the day after shopping... I highly recommend staying there, for it is built of quality and will make your stay cozy. more

This is a very basic joint. Clean sheets. Four walls. Heater. You can walk to get dinner or gamble at all the South Lake Casinos. If all you are looking for is a clean room, with good location, and a cheap rate, this is the place for you. more

It was a very clean, nice motel in a great location (near the ski lifts and the beach) The pool and spa were very nice as well. We had a great time and will come back soon. more
