We stayed here in September to visit Quebec city for the 400th. The hotel is really centrally located, a 10-15 minute walk to Porte St-Louis & The Old City. I liked the fact that it`s just outside the restaurants on Grande-Allee. Parking was a cinch, there were spots where we could park for free (next street over) overnight. I was... more

We had an EXCELLENT stay at the Auberge. I was a bit worried when I read the most recent review here, and actually almost canceled our stay. I'm so glad we didn't. The staff was very friendly. My French is minimal. They all spoke English and were happy to do so. We stay in two different rooms (because of availability... more

When we visited this hotel's website, the photos hinted at something elegant and worth the money. When we got there, we cracked open the door and found ourselves instead in what would at best be described as a budget to mid-range hotel in terms of quality. I don't know what turned us off more, the ratty gold carpet that was... more

All the staff of the Auberge noticed since the arrival of those clients, that they did not know how to spend their time during their what they called "honeymoon". The lady seemed very unsatisfied, but the problem was not the Hotel :)) But I hope you understand that it was impossible for us to help her :) Dear TripAdvisor members...

We stayed here on nights 4 through 8 of our honeymoon in January. The hotel was further out from the old city than I had figured based on the website, but it was okay. Our room was small but well appointed, with a very small shower stall. We had a lovely bed with beautiful linens and a nice duvet, as... more

PROXIMITY AND PARKING: First off, it's a beautiful building, and located on a main street in Quebec. Approximately 15-20 minutes (walking) from Chateau Frontenac. The parking was full, so we ended up parking at the church parking lot opposite from the hotel. $9 a day, and after 4:30, it's $4 per 12 hours. Might seem pricey, but considering that parking... more

We made our reservation well in advance. We booked online and contacted the hotel by email to request information. The response was immediate and very helpful. The rate was very reasonable. The location: Perfect location to walk to the city. On your way, you pass by a busy restaurant district (The Grande Allee). The food was good but a bit... more

The room and bath were newly decorated and clean but small and consequently a bit stuffy. We had requested 2 beds-the second bed was a murphy bed which came out of a dresser and left about 6 inches of space in the room. Also, a minor point was that the TV was located on the wall in the upper corner... more

The room was correct, but first thing I have noticed is that the A/C mesh was very dirty with a lot af dust. When taking a shower, water temperature was changing when my girlfriend took some water and even when she was not taking water. It seems that your shower temperature is depending demand of everybody else in the hotel!... more

Location: 20 minute walk from Old Quebec 10 minute walk from the night life (This was a family vacation so we skipped the clubs/bars) 5 minute walk from a good cluster of restaurants People: The staff were excellent. They were welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast: The included breakfast was more of a breakfast snack, there was... more

I stayed at Auberge du Quartier with my boyfriend for a long weekend. After a long car ride it was lovely to see a smiling face upon check in. The bi-lingual staff was very helpful and got us situated in our room right away. The room had many modern touches from the red walls to the furniture. The size of... more
