Patriote was my first hostel experience and I won't be my last. I thought it was very cute and had a nice ambience. You receive a pin number after you book a bed which allows you to enter and exit the building. You take off your shoes before going upstairs to the rooms/beds. This place is dreadful and a fire hazard. We stayed during the Grand Prix period and people were squashed in like sardines. We were kept awake all night by other quests ringing the downstairs door bell all night plus the phone ringing. The owners do not stay on site.
