Clean & staff are always friendly. Rooms can be a little on the dark side, and if you stay on the side that looks onto Hwy 97, don't try and open the window as hwy traffic can be pretty noisy. This hotel was a stop on a grand tour of the Rockies and stayed there out of necessity rather than desire to be in Vernon. I have experienced several Holiday Inns in Canada and the US and found this one to be at the level you'd expect of a Holiday Inn though my stay here was definitely a nice experience.... more

Stayed at this property for one night while travelling with a coach tour group to Banff from Vancouver. The property is much better than expected as it's very new along with comfortable beds, great towels, hot shower with HI's new type of showerheads, and new furnitures. Easily accessible just near a ring road, but not near the town centre so you have to take a taxi or drive. Otherwise, execatly what you would expect of a new hotel - well presented, nice beds, good towels. Some good restaurants in the town. more
