Was hesitant to stay here after reading some reviews, but gave it a shot. The staff were fantastic. Lobby was very busy during check in, however staff were efficient, polite and very helpful. Room was a kitchen suite on the 3rd floor and very comfortable. Bathroom had recently been renovated - one of the nicest I have seen in my... more

After decending to the lower floor we passed trolleys of laundry to get to our dungeon room. The windows did not open but the hotel without airconditioning had thoughtfully supplied 2 fans which were needed to cool the room. The hotel has far too many tour parties spending one night for guest to complain about the poor service. more

My friend and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was ok although we had a basement room and found the room dark. The room was not huge although neat and clean. It was about a 15 minute walk into the main street of Jasper and was not an unpleasant walk if you walk through the little streets. We... more

My wife and I were allocated a basement room at the front of the Hotel. The room was large with all amenities and so all appeared to be okay, that is until we tried to get some sleep. The hotel was quite busy and we heard the noise of every person leaving and entering the place until well into the... more

We stayed at the Lobstick last week for two nights. Our room had two King beds, I'm not sure if all rooms are the same size but this room was huge, the extra space was great. The bathroom was also a good size and looked like it had been renovated recently. The price was reasonable staff were friendly and the... more

We were a bit worried about staying at the Lobstick after reading some of the reviews, our worries were totally unfounded. The Lobstick is a nice place to stay. Our room on the second floor had a balcony and a wonderful view of the Rockies. well worth upgrading to a mountain view room. The rooms are well appointed clean, with... more

Stayed three nights in a kitchenette suite on the first floor. Nicely appointed, with separate bedroom, dining/living/eating/kitchen area and bathroom. The only windows in the suite were in the bedroom, so natural light was hard to come by in the living area -- we used the table/floor lamps rather than the harsh fluorescent ceiling fixture. The bathroom was really nice,... more

We booked the Lobstick Lodge through a UK travel agent and were a little bit concerned after reading various reviews. However we were pleasantly surprised and had a very enjoyable three nights. Our 2nd floor room (UK 1st floor) was clean and looked fairly newly decorated. Although it would be difficult not to have good views in Jasper, our room... more

Pleasantly surprised. After reading negative reviews, we asked for our basement room to be changed which helpful receptionist did, despite trouble with computor, and our floor two room with window onto car park and view of mountains was very clean and well equipped. I can imagine a floor 1 room near the laundry area and ice machine would be noisey... more
