This is the best holiday destination we have ever been on! Cancun is such a gorgeous place! Like many others we checked the hotel on this site before booking &I was quite worried, but had a great time! Disadvantages The moody man on reception, who didn’t give us a very warm welcome, but it was ok coz all the other... more

stayed there for 2 weeks and the hotel was fine. It is dated in comparison to most other hotels but its very clean with the sheets and towels being changed every day. staff are very friendly like all the mexican amigos. food was nice but would have liked more variety. you get mexican, italian, caribbean and then international repeated over.... more

After reading some pretty rubbish reviews we thought the place would be a dump but it was lovely! Fairly basic but thats what you pay for. Food was fine although eating the same for two weeks was pretty boring but didn't expect it to be any different. Room was really big and air con. worked. Due to hotel being small... more

Very disappointed with hotel, food which was repetitive and served in a shack on the water which we nicknamed Tenko hut. The location was farthest away from town centre but buses ran every 5 minutes. Most staff friendly for 1st week particularly El Sabio barman, but quite rude and hostile 2nd week. Got change of room 2nd day as it was... more

We have just had 15 memorable days at the Las Perlas, first impressions was that the Hotel looked dated but clean. You are right on the sandy white beach with a gentle lapping sea, but not the turquoise blue we where expecting. It was clear and clean but had sea weed growing a few feet from the shore. The rooms... more

We just got back from spending 10 days in the Yucatan. It was an amazing trip! Booked Imperial Las Perlas for the 1st night through Hotwire as we were arriving late in the night and needed a place to sleep. The hotel was so much worse than expected. The room was claustrophobic. The air conditioning barely worked (it was at... more
