The Westin Cancun is the perfect getaway to relax and unwind from the every day routine. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, we just got back yesterday and we had a wonderful experience. One advice that I will give future travelers to this hotel is to go ahead and pay the for the "Royal Beach Club"; is well... more

We spent 3 nights at the Westin in May, although the hotel is definately 5* and very 'modern and funky' I personally didn't find it to offer much in the way of good facilities... The Westin is the second (or second-to-last) hotel on the "Hotel Zone", meaning it is about a far from all the restaurants and nightlife as possible... more

We stayed here last week of May 2008 and had a wonderful experience. contrary to the negative reviews heard by us, this hotel had lots to offer. We stayed at lower level ocean view room and had a picture perfect view of the caribbean sea. Location: Less crowded than other resorts as its in the farther end of hotel zone(closeto... more

I was a bit scared of staying at this motel after reading the mixed reviews, but I really enjoyed my stay. I think it all depends on what you are looking for and what you are used to. I was travelling by myself. I am fairly simple and do not live a luxurious life. So, the hotel, the amenities, the... more

We stayed at the Westin May 3-9 and it was just fine. The place is so clean, staff super friendly and the beach is amazing! We upgraded to the Royal Beach Club which is a good idea. It's one of the hotels that is at the furthest end of the hotel zone, so getting to any restaurants, other than the... more

This hotel absolutely meet our expectations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the batroom was spacious with separate shower and tub. I was overall pleased with our stay. We stayed 5 nights. We never ate at the restaraunts and took the bus out for our meals. The best food is in downtown Cancun. It was a very... more

The Westin is a really nice and simple hotel. The room was nice but always seemed damp. The room was really spacious and had balcony that faced the lagoon. The lagoon gave off a wierd smell so we kept the doors shut, but don't get me wrong the smell was not in anyway intrusive, just there.. The lobby was bland... more

Recently stayed at the Westin for a quick overnight with our 3 children, ages 4, 7 and 8. We had returned from Chichen Itza and needed a days relaxation before flying home. The Area. Cancun is extremely built up. There are miles and miles of high-rise hotels along the stunningly lovely beach. This is NOT the spot for a low-key... more
