The staff spoke decent English and was responsive to my needs (even before I tipped them), they always asked whether I wanted anything for the room. The room was quite clean and did not smell. I have stayed at the Hacienda for more than 20 years. Remolded rooms are clean. New section built last year. Large oasis with pool and grass and plams makes for relaxing enviorment in this dusty border city. When you go there ask to speak with Olivero Martinez. more
