Great Place. Fabulous Stay. Remember this is a Hideaway! If you are Hamburger, Tex Mex, Beer and Margarita people, stay on the Dutch Side. Must Rent a car. This is a full efficiency Hotel. We stayed at the Hotel L'Esplanade in June of 2008, and it was everything we read about plus some! After a long flight from the West Coast to St. Martin, we were ready to either 1. drink lots of alcohol or 2. go swimming! Though I wasn't a huge fan of Grand Case, this hotel was fantastic. Very well decorated, with great service. More of a vacation condo than hotel, with well equiped kitchen, etc. I'd stay there again! more
