The hotel is well out of the busy downtown, and the tourist filled hip strip. It's a good choice if you are looking to do some stuff in and around Montego Bay, but probably not a good choice if you want to eat at Margaritaville and hang out on the hip strip all the time. The hotel shows pictures of when it was in its hey day. However, the rooms smell of mold and dirty mop water. The a/c units do not work and some rooms have no television at all.
